At BNPRS Research Lab, we are at the forefront of biometric research, secure identity systems, and intelligent data processing. We specialize in developing advanced solutions that power national identity programs, digital onboarding platforms, and forensic intelligence systems. Driven by innovation and precision, our work spans core biometric modalities like fingerprint, face, iris, voice, gait, and DNA, as well as document digitization (OCR) and AI-driven analytics. From designing robust recognition systems to enabling large-scale deployments, we are committed to shaping a secure, scalable, and privacy-focused future.

Pattabhi Ramaiah, the founder of BNPRS, holds a B.Tech. in computer science and information technology from JNTU Hyderabad (2004), an M.Tech. in artificial intelligence from the University of Hyderabad (2007), and a Ph.D. in computer science and engineering from IIT Hyderabad (2015). Following his doctoral studies, he served as a Post-Doctoral Research Associate at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2015. Currently, he is a Research Analyst at IT Partners DWC-LLC, Dubai, UAE. With over 16 years of experience, he has worked with organizations like 4G Identity Solutions (India), BioMoRF (Indonesia), and Canny Quest International (Dubai, UAE). His expertise spans AI, ML, data science, biometrics, and EMV technology. Noteworthy contributions include pivotal roles in major biometric projects such as Aadhaar (UIDAI), NPR, QiCard, and Indonesia NID (e-KTP), alongside recognitions like the IITH Academic Excellence Award in 2012. He also participated in the ISBA2015 Doctoral Consortium in Hong Kong, the JENESYS program’s Indian Student Delegation in Japan in 2012, and the Biometric Summer School in Italy in 2018.
